Pantone Fashion Color Report Fall 2012 Inspired Look

First there is one thing that must be understood when it comes to trends. You don't have to cram all colors or styles into one look. It's all about personal interpretation. Not all colors suit all skin colors and not all trends suit every body type, nevertheless it's all about attitude and  if you have it you could pull anything. Having that in mind I have set up this first look and most importantly its budget friendly!

The main color here is the pink. It's not the exact shade but the point is to get the idea how you can incorporate this kind of color into your fall wardrobe.
*Tip: You could also throw in some opaque tights if it gets cold!

Interpretation of trends

As I mentioned in my facebook, I am not a very fashionable person. Nonetheless I am ALWAYS aware of the latest trends of colors, fabrics, etc. I am way too practical to pursue every single trend thats going on, and I hardly get out of my house (long story). As I was trying to research about fall 2012 trends, I came across Pantone Fashion Color Report fall 2012, a very interesting article that present fun, interesting and bright colors for fall, and red is not there! I know, I know no one has to strictly follow trends, they are just a guide and everyone interprets them in their own unique ways. I am thinking of making make up picture tutorials with various combinations of this colors or pasting up some plus size looks to share, or maybe both. Off to create!

A Different Valentine's Day Look

Hi!

Everybody thinks about pink and red when they think about Valentines Day. But I think that is overrated. Having that on mind I created this look using warm tones of brown.

Products I used:
Revlon Photoready Foundation
MAC Painterly Paint Pot
Hard Candy Glamouflage Heavy Duty Concealer
Milani Baked Blush in Coralina
NYC Bronzing Face Powder in Sunny
Maybelline Dream Matte Powder
Urban Decay Naked Palette I: Sin, Toasted & Hustle
Loreal Voluminous Mascara
NYX lip liner (cant remember the shade)

Enjoy!
XO

*Don't mind the hair XD
